Doronko Wanko Dirty Dog Game Gets DLC, Switch Release

Bandai Namco Studio announced that Doronko Wanko, the free dog game about the dirty, mud-flinging Pomeranian, will get paid PC DLC and a Switch release. Both are set to debut in Spring 2025. The free version is currently on Steam now.

In Doronko Wanko, you play as the family puppy innocently roaming around your family’s home. It’s fresh, clean, new, and even prepped for a party. However, the dog can tell there’s a “Good Smell Room” locked away, and you need to completely decimate the rest of the house by being extremely dirty in the game. While mud may be the first type of dirt available, eventually things like paint and other substances will be available to cause damage, build up the bill, and reveal hidden pome puppy faces around the house to unlock access to the forbidden space.

Details about the Doronko Wanko DLC are a bit sparse. What we know at the moment is that there will be three new kinds of dogs to play as if you purchase it. It is unknown if they might have unique dirt-spreading tendencies, such as some cosmetic hats already in the game that make it easier to launch mud and other liquids. Bandai Namco Studios did note the Switch version of Doronko Wanko will include those DLC dogs when it launches.

The announcement came up during the OTK Games Winter Games Expo 2024, which you can watch below:
