Nobita is usually good for nothing, but we’ve always known him as a compassionate boy when it comes to animals, plants, and all living things, so he’s a natural fit for the Bokujou Monogatari spinoff, Doraemon: Nobita’s Story of Seasons.
Here’s a look at a new trailer:
The trailer shows how the story starts with Doraemon, Nobita, and friends finding themselves stuck in an unknown land. Since Doraemon lost his Secret Gadgets from the future, the crew decide to stay in Shizen Town where they’ll help grow crops and raise animals until they can find a way back.
Along the way, Nobita encounters various characters from Shizen Town, and as his friendship grows with the folks at town, they’ll help you find some of Doraemon’s lost Secret Gadgets that will also come in handy, making it almost like a Story of Seasons with cheats.
Some of these gadgets include the “Dokodemo Door” that lets you basically walk through a door to any place imaginable, or the “Pass-Through Hoop” that can be used to pass through walls.
Doraemon: Nobita’s Story of Seasons releases for Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 13, 2019. The game has only been announced in Japan, but recent Taiwanese ratings suggest a possible English localization.
