The next Doraemon film, Doraemon: Nobita’s Little Star Wars 2021, is getting a video game adaptation for Nintendo Switch. Publisher FuRyu shared a first look with new screenshots and details. The Switch party game is now available to pre-order in Japan for 6,568 yen ahead of its release date in March 2021. [Thanks, Gamestalk.]
As a permanent bonus, all physical copies of the game will include Doraemon deco stickers.
This time, we have a Doraemon party game based on Doraemon: Nobita’s Little Star Wars 2021. The game offers a bunch of mini-games and up to four players for local multiplayer gameplay.
Some mini-games will have you compete against other players to see who is #1, while some mini-games will have you cooperate to take on a powerful enemy.
Gameplay-wise, it’s mostly simple controls that use the Joy-Con. There’s a wide variety of mini-games, but they’re all easy to pick up and understand right off the bat.
The game will feature the movie’s story, which is a remake of the 1985 film Doraemon: Nobita’s Little Star Wars. It will also feature a collection of Doraemon‘s gadgets for you to collect.
Doraemon: Nobita’s Little Star Wars 2021 Game will release for the Nintendo Switch in Japan on March 5, 2021. It is currently available to pre-order at Rakuten Books. We don’t get Doraemon games in the West that often, but we did get Doraemon: Story of Seasons last year.
