If you’re not a big Doraemon fan, you might not know that this long-run series is one of the most popular in Japan—especially among really young kids—and one of the more enduring. It’s from way before Pokémon was anywhere on the block.

The series is getting a remake of an old film called Doraemon: Nobita and the Haunts of Evil with a 2014 movie called Doraemon: New Nobita’s Great Demon—Peko and the Exploration Party of Five. There’ll also then be a 3DS game for kids to play. Details are scanty, but as you can see the game will be a third-person action game which will let you control the various characters from the series such as Nobita, Doraemon, Shizuka and Suneo. It will also, apparently, involve animals.

Doraemon: New Nobita’s Great Demon—Peko and the Exploration Party of Five for the Nintendo 3DS will be out March 6th 2014.
