Dolly Mix and Sanrio are having a collaboration for the 50th anniversary of Hello Kitty. Little figurines of Hello Kitty and her friends in dessert-inspired outfits will appear in gacha machines in mid-December 2024, and they’ll cost 400 JPY ($2.60) per attempt. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]
There are four variations of figurines to collect. All of them stand at approximately 40 millimeters tall, though they look like they’re sitting down. As mentioned earlier, the outfits look dessert-themed, as they all have strawberries in their bows. Each figurine also has either a star or a heart design in their eyes, adding to the overall cuteness. The characters you can get are Hello Kitty, Mimmy, Dear Daniel, and Tiny Chum.

For the 50th anniversary of Hello Kitty, many companies have collaborated with Sanrio to release exclusive merchandise. Takara Tomy, for example, released a special version of its Licca-chan doll. Meanwhile, Build-a-Bear added a special 50th anniversary Hello Kitty doll to its online storefront back in August 2024. Sanrio itself has released multiple pieces of goods as well, including special anniversary coins and a snow globe.
