Square Enix posted a flash demo of Nanashi no Game (Nameless Game) which you can access by heading over to the official site. Unfortunately, the site is flash based so I won’t be able to provide a direct link, but it’s easy to get to. When you arrive on the age gate page click on the left option (miru / see), then click on the middle option on the bottom menu (game). This should take you to a page with four icons in the middle and two on the bottom left hand corner. The top option in the bottom left hand corner looks like a DS held in book style, click on that to try the game out.
You can move forward by holding the virtual stylus in the center. Drag it left, right, up or down to look in that direction. If you want to turn around you have to hold the stylus either on the left or right until the protagonist rotates. The graphical layout is pretty neat, but the character moves than molasses. Hopefully, the flash demo is not a fair representation of the final product.
The other neat feature is you can see screenshots from the cursed game by clicking on the option below the demo. While you can’t run around the retro game with your web browser you will be playing it in Nanashi no Game. The real world and the “Uta Soft’s” game with in a game world are connected. So, you get to explore both.
