Both Dissidia Final Fantasy NT’s Vaan and Kain will be getting some cosmetic items. Vaan’s third outfit prepares him for taking to the skies in an airship with a familiar sword. As for Kain, he looks like he’s ready to set out on a journey with a holy weapon to overcome his dark side. Each outfit has three different color palettes.

Here’s Vaan wearing his new Zodiac Rider outfit. It is inspired by his dream of becoming a sky pirate. (Which he ended up fulfilling in Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.) He also gets the Deathbringer sword, a recurring Final Fantasy weapon that he could acquire and use in Final Fantasy XII.

As for Kain, his new outfit is a callback too. He gets to wear his Final Fantasy IV: The After Years attire. In a nod to the sequel following his journey to overcome his past and dark side, it is called Light Seeker. His new weapon is the Holy Lance. That was his ultimate weapon in Final Fantasy IV, and he is able to find and equip it in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years as well.
