Tiana had previously been confirmed as part of the Disney Dreamlight Valley roadmap, but the latest developer update has provided more details. Two new locations will be added alongside her: Tiana’s Palace and Tiana’s Meal Stall. Tiana’s Palace will be the setting of a quest where you help Tiana cook meals for her customers, while the meal stall will be a place to purchase meals on the go.

New costumes and furniture based on the 1920s setting of The Princess and the Frog will also be added. These include a flapper dress and a sweater vest. Donald Duck will also gain a Dream Style which dresses him in a patterned jacket and straw boater.

In addition to Tiana, the latest Disney Dreamlight Valley update will also feature the latest story expansion, “A Rift in Time Act 3: Treasures of Time.” The story follows on from the end of Act 2, where Jafar opened a rift above the valley. This is causing time anomalies, such as turning Mickey Mouse into his Steamboat Willie iteration. Completion of this storyline will add Jafar to the valley.

The latest update will also add a number of improvements to Disney Dreamlight Valley. These improvements include the ability to favorite or hide outfit pieces and furniture, and outfit presets will allow you to save your custom outfits for later use. Cross-platform play is also being added for PlayStation systems.

Tiana will release for Disney Dreamlight Valley on August 21, 2024. The game is available now for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, iOS, Nintendo Switch, and PC
