For starters, a free August 2024 update will introduce Tiana from The Princess and the Frog to the valley. You’ll also be able to get the Tiana’s Palace and Star Path decoration. In the same month, the A Rift in Time expansion pass will introduce a new story in which you infiltrate Jafar’s palace to stop his evil plan. This will be paid DLC.

October 2024 will have a smaller update to fix issues with the game. However, it will introduce Timon & Pumbaa in a storyline that takes you back to The Lion King. Finally, in late 2024, it look like Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas may take center stage, as the picture shows a dress that looks like hers. However, there’s no information on that as of yet.\

Other future updates for Disney Dreamlight Valley include fixes based on player feedback. There will be changes to the Furniture and Wardrobe menus, as well as ways to get more space in the valley if you have a really full one. There will be cross-platform multiplayer for PlayStation consoles as well.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life simulation game in which you live in a magical valley alongside classic Disney characters. It’s very similar to Animal Crossing in that you can interact with the residents, fix up the valley, and rearrange items around the valley or your house. However, there is an overarching story in this game.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, iOS, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC.
