Well, get this out of the way first – Asagi has a cameo in Disgaea Dimension 2: A Brighter Darkness where she is a super idol that sings and dances. Nippon Ichi Software also made a new character whose name has not been revealed. The girl in the pink costume is an angel with white wings and a gaudy pink outfit. Sicily, Laharl’s sister who also happens to be an angel, says she looks like Pure Pink from the Angel Squadron Pure Seven group.
Asagi makes her debut as a super idol with the song "Rockin’ Princess" in Disgaea Dimension 2.
One of the new features in Disgaea Dimension 2: A Brighter Darkness is the Demon Dojo where you can train characters. The Demon Dojo has three rooms one that trains player’s physical and mental state, another for attack techniques and weapons, and a room made for magic users. You can choose which training room you want to go to.
Players can train here to increase their attack power so you can deal more damage in battle
This painful training exercise increases your defense.
Laharl can also train to increase the amount of experience points he gets.
Concentrating by standing underneath a waterfall erases your desire and interestingly makes it easier to get rewards after a battle is over.
Those cauldrons are filled with pheromones which are said to make you popular the next day. Use these and you should be able to boost how other characters like Laharl.
The Dark Congress returns in Disgaea Dimension 2. Just like other games you pick a bill you want to pass, then select a character to petition to change the kinds of items available or add advanced classes. You can bribe senators before a vote and if the vote doesn’t go your way you can persuade the demon congress with force. As a last resort, if you’re loaded you can give HL to force your bill to pass.
Disgaea Dimension 2: A Brighter Darkness comes out on March 20 in Japan. NIS America has the PlayStation 3 game slated for a fall release in North America and Europe.
