Disgaea 6 Super Reincarnation System Will Let You Obliterate Enemies at Level 1

The new Super Reincarnation system in Disgaea 6 will allow players to absolutely eviscerate enemies at level one. Famitsu has released an article and a exclusive video detailing this new system and how it will function. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

While we have already seen Disgaea 6 protagonist Zed go up against a level 8,000,000 God of Destruction at level 70,000, this new video highlights what makes Super Reincarnation so special. Using the Karma system, players can allocate points to increase base stats like strength or even Zed’s ability to move around the field.

In the video above, you can see a level one Zed decimate a level 9,999 enemy with a single blow. As mentioned previously, this is purely possible due to the Super Reincarnation system, which is unique to Zed. While a reincarnation system already exists in Disgaea this new feature allows Zed to acquire the mentioned Karma points every time he dies.

Other features new to Disgaea 6 include the new 99,999,999 level cap and a x32 speed mode. Additionally, players will be able to utilize an auto-battle function of sorts. This does include the ability to program what skills your characters will use depending on various situations so you don’t have to worry about your characters dying if you choose to step away from the controller.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny will release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on January 28, 2021. It will appear on the Switch in Summer 2021 in the West.
