Hot on the heals of the new Disgaea announcement, we have a Disgaea 6 Limited Edition and merch reveal. The NIS America storefront has updated with a collector’s edition people can get for $99.99. Though, there are also more affordable items like a Cerberus plush. The official game website opened too, providing some more details about characters.
The collector’s edition begins with a physical copy of the game and a Steelbook case to hold it. There’s also a Defiance of Dissonance soundtrack CD with music from the game and a Behind the Seams art book. The pin set gives you pins of Zed, his sister Bieko, and their dog Cerberus. You also have a 28” x 40” cloth poster showing the whole cast of the game together.
As for the other merch, they all tie into the game and three characters we know about. There’s a 1000-piece puzzle for $24.99. It uses the July 2020 art that teased Zed, Bieko, and Cerberus. A $39.99 Cerberus plush toy is in the works. There will also be a Zed’s squad shirt with the three character’s shadows on it for $29.99 and a hoodie that has all three of their shadows for $64.99. All of these items will also ship in Summer 2021.
As for the website, it announced a premise and characters. Our heroes will be Zed, his sister Bieko, and Cerberus. Some of the people they’ll meet, and perhaps face, are Overlord Ivar and God of Destruction.
Here’s the game’s official description, as taken from NIS America’s site:
Zed is a boastful zombie who wallows on the lowest rung on the Netherworld ladder alongside his sister Bieko. When a God of Destruction threatens their way of (un)life, Zed must harness his unique ability of Super Reincarnation to stand against the approaching menace. Along the way, he will unite with twisted and colorful denizens of different Netherworlds, face challenges around and within, and see if even an undying hooligan like himself can defy the odds!
Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny will come to the Nintendo Switch in Summer 2021. The Disgaea 6 Limited Edition pre-orders are open through NIS America.
