The Limited Edition Famitsu DX Pack includes a tapestry featuring artwork by Disgaea series artist Takehito Harada, an acrylic desk clock, key chain, the Disgaea 6 original soundtrack, and a special 3D laser crystal display. This display includes the aforementioned crystal, which like the tapestry, features artwork by Takehito Harada. This will also include the LED stand required to display the crystal. Images of these items have not yet been revealed.

Gameplay footage for Disgaea 6 was shared during Tokyo Game Show 2020. This included a look at character models and the sheer amount of damage players will be able to do within this new installment, which is almost expected since the new level cap in Disgaea 6 is 99,999,999.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny will release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on January 28, 2021, and Summer 2021 for the West.
