The trailer starts with a look at the previous Disgaea games, starting with the 2003-released Disgaea: Hour of Darkness to the 2015-released Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance. With the series total sales at over 4.5 million, we’ll see the latest from the SRPG series in Disgaea 6 next year.
As far as new elements go, there are new Team Attacks, Super Reincarnation, Karma, Demonic Intelligence (DI), Juice Bar, D-Merit Points, and Item Research Squad. As previously detailed, Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny introduces several quality-of-life features. This includes the option to speed up battles for those who don’t have time to grind it out. The speed options are x2, x4, x8, and Super Speed. Additionally, a new auto-battle function will allow players to assign character attacks and skills.
