Bandai Namco announced a sales milestone for Digimon Survive. The game, which is a hybrid between a tactical title and visual novel, passed 500,000 units sold worldwide. This comes following multiple discounts in November 2022 that dropped its price.
Here’s the official announcement. As a reminder, the game debuted worldwide on July 29, 2022. This means it took about four months to reach almost half a million units sold.
Wow! #DigimonSurvive has sold over 500,000 Units Worldwide!

This news arrives after multiple Digimon Survive sales appeared over Black Friday 2022. For example, GameStop dropped the game’s price to $17. That discount is still in effect. While Switch copies were sold out as of 10am ET on December 2, 2022, PS4 ones were still available at that price. The Switch version is also $41.99 in the eShop until December 4, 2022.
As a reminder, this is a darker sort of Digimon game. After a group of teenagers pass through a tunnel during a storm, they find themselves in a world full of Digimon. They need to work alongside their partners to stay alive.
Digimon Survive is available on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
