Digimon Anime 25th Anniversary Event Coming to Tokyo

A new Digimon event for the 25th anniversary of the anime will be held in Tokyo, Japan, and it will take place between January 4, 2025 and February 11, 2025. Under the title of “Digimon Animation 25th Anniversary in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza” event will be DiverCity Tokyo Plaza located in Odaiba.

An original clear file folder will be given as a bonus for participating in a stamp rally and shopping at some of the stores in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. Participants that get all of the nine stamps and show tickets with a single purchase of over 1,000 yen (~$6.55.) Additionally, a Digimon 25th anniversary food truck offering themed foods will be available during weekends and public holidays.

Various photos spots with the characters of the 9 main Digimon anime series will be available at the venue as well. Furthermore, the voice of the popular character Agumon will make announcements through the venue’s PA system for the duration of the event. A new special PV for the 25th anniversary will also appear at the venue, alongside “Butter-Fly,” the opening theme song of Digimon Adventure and other Digimon videos.

Other events have appeared for the 25th anniversary of the Digimon anime, such as Digimon Adventure exhibition that was held in Tokyo between August 10-25, 2024 and later in Osaka between October 5-20, 2024, as well as a special promotional video exclusively made for the anniversary celebration.

The “Digimon Animation 25th Anniversary in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza” event will be held in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza between January 4, 2025 and February 11, 2025. The anime is streaming on Hulu.
