Over the years since its debut, Flyhigh Works has offered multiple free Voez updates for the Nintendo Switch version that increase the size of the rhythm game’s library. The latest one brings with it a crossover with a certain blue-armored, shovel-clad character. A free Voez Shovel Knight song has appeared, and all someone has to do to claim it is update the game.
The announcement video goes over the reveal in an appropriate manner. Shovel Knight is running along and happens upon a chest. As he roots through it, he finds some Nintendo Switch systems, some Joy-Cons, and a copy of a Switch game. From there, people get to hear a bit of Jake Kaufman’s “Shovel Knight Main Theme,” the newly added song.
Here’s the clip showcasing the free Voez Shovel Knight update.
As a reminder, because of the way Voez works, there won’t be any neat visualizer effects or indicators referencing Shovel Knight while you’re playing through the song. It will only give people a chance to hear the music.
This is one of the smaller free Voez song updates. For example, ones in November 2017 and February 2018 each added 14 songs.
Voez is available for the Nintendo Switch both digitally and physically.
