Blizzard will provide another opportunity to play Diablo IV ahead of its release through an open stress test in May 2023. It will be held from May 12-14, 2023 and will give players a chance to obtain any rewards they may have missed from the open beta. Additionally, this will give those who missed out on the initial open beta period a chance to dive into Sanctuary. This was announced during an April 20, 2023 developer livestream.
The stress test will allow for players to try out the currently available classes, which include the Necromancer, Druid, Sorcerer, Barbarian, and Rogue. Leading up to the release of the game, Blizzard shared trailers showcasing the strengths and playstyles for each class.
