This is the first time gameplay with Lady has been shown off. The introductory video explains how the game will keep the series’ stylish action combat intact, albeit with some simplified controls to work with the touchscreen. We even see how Style Switching seems to be making a return, as they are present and accounted for on the top-left of the screen. A boss fight is also shown off against Nevan from Devil May Cry 3. However, her appearance and voice lines seem to also be completely new for the smartphone game.

Pinnacle of Combat was first announced back in 2017, and is a brand-new spinoff developed by Yunchang Games. The game will feature PvE combat against iconic bosses across the series, but also will supposedly have PvP modes as well. The title entered beta testing back in 2019, and the developers have been addressing feedback since then. The game is slated to launch in 2020, but even now, no release date has been officially announced.

Devil May Cry: Pinnacle of Combat will launch for smartphones on iOS and Android in 2020.
