People won’t have to wait too long if they would rather go with physical Devil May Cry 5 PS5 or Xbox Series X copies. Capcom confirmed they’ll be out this year. A few weeks after the digital debut when each of the new systems launch, people will be able to find Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition retail copies on December 1, 2020.
The confirmation also offered a look at both the PS5 and Xbox Series X box art for the two games. Both have the same art, which has Dante and Nero front and center, then Vergil behind them. V’s watching over all three from the background. Both boxes note that Vergil Mode is a part of the experience.
The Devil May Cry 5 PS5 box features the new white and black header used to distinguish PS5 games from PS4 copies. The Xbox Series X box offers a few more details about what people can expect. In its upper right corner, it points out this version will have 4K ultra HD visuals and support HDR.
Here’s a better look at both covers.
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will be available on the Xbox Series X digitally on November 10, 2020. It will show up on the PlayStation Store for the PlayStation 5 on November 12, 2020 in Australia, Japan, North America, and South Korea and worldwide on November 19, 2020. Physical copies will appear in stores on December 1, 2020.
