Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition Launch Trailer Shows Off Bloody Palace Co-op

With the launch of Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition for the Nintendo Switch, Capcom has uploaded a new trailer to celebrate the release of this highly anticipated port. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

In a previous stream, developers Hidaeki Itsuno and Matt Walker, discussed the new co-op feature that has now been included in Devil May Cry 3‘s Bloody Palace mode. Co-op for this mode is a feature exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version. If you’re looking to have an absolutely crazy time with friends this will be the port you will want to get your hands on. In order to access the co-op mode you’ll need to have both a Dante and Vergil save file respectively, but you can read more about the details involving how to fully access this exciting new feature here.

Additionally, the launch trailer also shows players how on the fly weapon and style switching on the fly will function – if you haven’t already checked that out. This is another feature exclusive to the Nintendo Switch release of Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition. While on the the fly style and weapon switching have been part of the Devil May Cry series from Devil May Cry 4 onward, this is the first time it is appearing in Devil May Cry 3.
