Square Enix have released a trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Eidos Montreal’s sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution. As previously reported, the game is in development for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Mankind Divided is being developed using Eidos Montreal’s new “Dawn Engine,” which is built for current-gen consoles. The game will support DirectX 12 as well as AMD’s TressFX technology.

The story for Deus Ex: Mankind divided takes place in the year 2029—two years after Human Revolution. Adam Jensen is once again the protagonist and is now an anti-terrorist agent that “plays by his own rules”. Adam has seen a bunch of new augmentations, including one that enables him to surround himself with some sort of nearly indestructible armour.

Additionally, Square Enix say that the  game’s story will involve a conspiracy surrounding the Illuminati.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided does not have a release date yet.
