A few days ago, Epic Minds, the developer of Midora, an action-adventure game inspired by the 2D Zeldas, stated that the project had been put on hold due to financial issues.

At the time, the game’s director, Mhyre, stated: “We are not bankrupt, but we know for sure we do not have enough to complete this game. We also do not have what it takes to release Midora on Steam Early Access in a satisfying state.”

As of last night, though, it appears that Epic Minds have had a change of heart. They updated their Kickstarter page, stating that development of the game is “back on track,” but neglected to provide further details.

Epic Minds’ new update reads: “After much debate and thinking, Midora’s development will resume soon. A Kickstarter update explaining why and Early Access news are coming soon.” We’ll have more news on the game as it is made available.
