Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia shared the E3 2017 trailer for their upcoming PSVR title, V! What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord? R, giving us a look at its new 3D gameplay system. A Western release has yet to be announced, but now that we have an E3 2017 trailer, it appears that we’ll likely get a localization of it announced sometime during the event.
As previously reported, V! What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord? R is all in 3D but it’ll retain the food cycle system as well as various homage elements to go with the new “Destroyer Skills” that you’ll use to take out the hero.
Monsters and the enemy hero all move on their own, and won’t be controlled by the player, but you’ll get to influence their actions using the “God Con,” or your PS4 controller, to suck up monsters and place them anywhere on the world.
You can also shake the controller when monsters are inside to create a Magic Circle, used to make powerful monsters. These vary according to the types of monsters you suck up before making the Magic Circle.
V! What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord? R was initially announced for a Spring 2017 release, but it has since then been delayed to Fall 2017.
