An arcade might be the last place someone might want to visit during a pandemic, but something unexpected appeared at one in the United States. Taito is holding a location test at Dallas, Texas’ Dave & Buster’s for Densha de Go. But this isn’t any version of the game. It’s actually a Densha de Go English cabinet.
Here’s the official announcement tweet, which also noted the exact address for the Dave & Buster’s and showed the cabinet. The Densha de Go cabinet’s marquee and seat still show the Japanese logo, but the touch screen does feature English text.
Ever wanted to drive a train in Tokyo, but can’t make the trip? Then DENSHA DE GO! to @daveandbusters in Dallas, Texas to play in English!

In each Densha de Go game, players’ goal is to accurately and safely drive trains. Installments have no only appeared in arcades, but also on consoles and handhelds in Japan. This marks its English debut.
Densha de Go is now playable at the Dave & Buster’s in Dallas, Texas. Taito didn’t note how long the Densha de Go English cabinet might be at the test location. The next console release in the series will be Densha de GO!! Hashirou Yamanote-sen, which will appear in Japan in March 2021.
