Demon’s Souls Remake Launch Trailer Feels Both Nostalgic and New

It is time to head back to Boletaria. The Demon’s Souls remake is here. Well, depending on where you live it might already be available. To help people prepare, Sony shared a launch trailer that shows some of the unsettling and devastatingly powerful foes you’ll meet when you head into the Nexus and face its regions.

Though, there is something to be aware of with this Demon’s Souls remake trailer. While this is a revival of a PlayStation 3 game, people who didn’t play the original and want to be surprised would see spoilers in this video. Some of the bosses have brief cameo appearances throughout this and, while the clips are small, it is possible to see something that might surprise you.

For a more extensive look at what Demon’s Souls looks like, there was a State of Play with an extended look. It focused on the character creation elements and what it’s like to fight your way through it.

Bluepoint and Sony’s Demon’s Souls remake is available for the PlayStation 5 in Australia, Japan, North America and South Korea. It will launch in other areas alongside the system on November 19, 2020. A Digital Deluxe Edition with extra, exclusive content is available. The original Demon’s Souls is available on the PlayStation 3 and was developed by FromSoftware and published by Atlus.
