When the Demon’s Souls PS5 remake showed up during Sony’s livestream focusing on titles headed to the new console, all we initially had to go by was a trailer offering a peek at how the game will look on the new system. Now the PlayStation Blog has offered another helpful tidbit. There will be two graphics modes people can choose from when they play. It will also support ray tracing.

Like many games with multiple graphics options, like say Borderlands 3 and Nioh 2, it sounds like the Demon’s Souls PS5 remake will offer one mode that focuses on keeping a stable frame rate and another on a higher resolution. While Sony didn’t specifically name either one or mention target frame rates or resolutions, it noted one option will prioritize frame rate and the other will be geared toward providing the highest “fidelity.”

For people who want a better look at the game, but don’t want to watch the trailer for it, Wario64 shared some 4K direct feed screenshots of the game.

The Demon’s Souls remake will appear on the PlayStation 5, with Japan Studio and Bluepoint Games developing it. The original Demon’s Souls is immediately available on the PlayStation 3.
