Universal Studios Japan has hosted several other themed attractions at the park, including a Monster Hunter and Resident Evil attraction. These were limited time attractions and only opened for brief windows. More recently, a Super Mario themed attraction opened at Universal Studios Japan. This themed area includes a recreation of various iconic locations and set-pieces found in various Mario games. Additionally, Universal Studios Japan opened up a website that allows for potential attendees to take a digital tour of the park and check out attractions before their intended visit.

However, similarly to the Monster Hunter and Resident Evil attractions, it appears that the Demon Slayer attraction will be open for a set period of time. The current available information suggests that the attraction will open on September 17, 2021 and will potentially close on February 13, 2022. However, this information will be clarified once the official announcement is made.
