Bandai Spirits revealed new Figuarts Zero figures of Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado from Demon Slayer. The new Tanjiro and Nezuko figures will officially come out in October 2021 and November 2021, respectively. Both will cost 7,480 yen (~$68.50). [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]
Tanjiro’s new figure shows him fully concentrating on his Hinokami Kagura technique with his blade still fully intact. Meanwhile, the Nezuko figure shows her unleashing the Blood Demon Art. Both figures can be displayed together to create a unified scene of the siblings preparing their attacks simultaneously.
This is the third Figuarts Zero figure made for the Demon Slayer protagonist Tanjiro Kamado and the second for his sister Nezuko. Tanjiro’s Water Breathing and Hinokami Kagura figures released in June and December 2020, respectively. Nezuko’s first Figuarts Zero figure, which showed her running, released on January 30, 2021.
Last Friday, on May 7, 2021, Bandai Spirits revealed that it will release the first Figuarts Zero for Inosuke Hashibira in September 2021. Prior to these announcements, Zenitsu, Giyu, Kyojuro, and Shinobu had also received their own figures under the same brand.
Aniplex will release a video game based on the famous franchise, Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2021. Most of the characters mentioned above have been confirmed to appear in the game’s roster.
