The 1/8 scaled figure will portray Nezuko activating her signature technique, Exploding Blood. In the manga and anime adaptations, Nezuko can use her blood to heal her friends’ wounds, imbue her brother Tanjiro’s Nichirin Blade, or even generate controlled flames to engulf her enemies. The 20 cm (~7.87 in) tall and 17 cm (~6.69 in) wide figure showcases the latter effect with sculpted flames.

Previously, Good Smile Company opened pre-orders for a Nezuko Kamado figma from December 2020 to January 2021. Although the movable figure does not have the blood flame effects, it still has an alternative facial expression and red hand to emulate Nezuko activating her Exploding Blood technique. The figma is expected to ship in Japan in August 2021 and North America in September 2021.

The second season of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime is currently under production and will air in 2021. The Mugen Train movie will land in North American theaters on April 23, 2021, and digital storefronts on June 22, 2021. Various merchandise based on the famous franchise also appeared, ranging from watches and bags to even sword-shaped pencils and baby attire.
