Aniplex didn’t share specific details about the upcoming improvements. We still don’t have a release window either, but it’s safe to assume that it will be sometime in 2021.

Check out the announcement from the game’s official Twitter account below:

“We planned to release Demon Slayer: Keppuu Kengeki Royale in 2020, but we decided to postpone the scheduled release window to further improve its quality. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to everyone who waited for the game’s release.”

Aniplex hasn’t shared gameplay details since announcing the game, but there was a pre-registration campaign to get Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashikbira as playable characters. The highest reward was the 500,000 pre-registrations tier, which unlocked an SSR ability card exclusively available as an early sign-up bonus.

Demon Slayer: Keppuu Kengeki Royale is in development for Apple iOS and Android devices. Aniplex also announced the 2021-slated Demon Slayer: Hinokami Keppuutan for the PS4 by CybcerConnect2 back in March 2020.
