With the release of the final volume of the My Hero Academia manga in Japan, newly drawn illustrations of Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto holding their hands out will appear as newspaper ads in Japan. The illustrations will also appear as collectible postcards.
The postcards will be included alongside the final manga volume, and will appear at selected bookstores throughout Japan. Meanwhile, the ads will appear on the December 5, 2024 edition of various Japanese newspapers. Katsuki Bakugo will appear on the Asahi Shimbun, Izuku “Deku” Midoriya will appear on the Yomiuri Shimbun, and Shoto Todoroki will appear on the Mainichi Shimbun. The illustrations depict the characters extending their hands towards the viewer alongside the caption “This world needs heroes” in Japanese.

The choice of these three characters for the new illustrations coincides with them being voted as the top three most popular characters of the manga through the My Hero Academia World Best Hero character poll. The complete poll features the top 100 ranking and includes votes from all across the globe.
Marvel and Shonen jump also collaborated in a new art exchange to celebrate the ending of the My Hero Academia manga. The exchange features characters from the manga series and various Marvel superheroes such as Spider-Man and Black Cat hanging out.
The My Hero Academia manga is available to read on Viz Media and MangaPlus. The anime adaptation is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
