Deception IV: Blood Ties is getting an upgraded version in Japan, titled Kagero: The Other Princess, which includes a new protagonist named Vergilie, and more. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine shows a bit more of the new “Quest Mode”.

Quest Mode is a new feature that adds over 100 quests for players to attempt. The above image shows the new main character, Vergilie, as the red-headed character on the bottom-right.

To get you up to speed, Vergilie is a “nightmare princess” who makes people see bad dreams. She’s also the daughter of a malevolent deity, but she’s been losing her powers lately, and it has something to do with a long sleep. As part of Quest Mode, she’ll go up against past Deception heroines, including Millennia from Kagero: Deception II, Allura from Trapt, and Reina from Deception III: Dark Delusion.

While there aren’t too many details as far as what they’ll be up to in the Quest Mode goes, it seems likely that they’ll appear as some sort of boss characters in one of its many quests.

The updated version of Deception IV will release in Japan on March 26, 2015 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
