Deception IV Has A Little Tribute To Monster Rancher

Monster Rancher was Tecmo’s take on Pokémon and the pet simulation genre. The series had a unique twist that turned CDs and DVDs into monsters, but after a couple of DS titles and an online game Tecmo put the series to rest. So, the Suezo trap might be our only chance to see the series flagship monster in HD.

A Suezo trap is in Deception IV: Another Princess, an upgraded version of Deception IV: Blood Ties.

Traps from earlier Deception games like the Falling Ceiling trap and the Genocide Eye are in Deception IV: Another Princess too.

Deception IV: Another Princess comes out in Japan on March 26 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4. So far, the expanded version of Deception IV has not been announced in the West.
