It will soon be easier to survive in Death Stranding. Hideo Kojima has announced a mid-December 2019 patch is on the way, and it is going to have two additions that players have been requesting. Obnoxious vehicles blocking things will be able to be scrapped soon, while the Odradek will be a lot easier to see when you need it.
The Death Stranding vehicles issue has been a problem for some time. What happens is some people might leave a vehicle in the world, either intentionally or unintentionally, and block access to terminals. When this patch has been applied, there will be an additional “Dismantle” option if you come upon a non-MULE vehicle in the game.
As for the Death Stranding Odradek, it will now be visible at all times when Sam is in a BT-infested area. Even if he has a stack of packages on his back, the device’s glowing lights will be visible through them.
Kojima’s tweet shows how both functions will work in a new video.
A new update on the mid-December patch for DEATH STRANDING! Based on user feedback, the following features are now in testing: cargo transparency when Odradek visibility is obstructed and the ability to dispose of vehicles blocking the way (MULE vehicles cannot be disposed). pic.twitter.com/BrpdPfCyTJ
