Death Come True director Kazutaka Kodaka revealed on Twitter that the upcoming interactive movie game will release worldwide in June.
For those unfamiliar with Death Come True, the game is set in a hotel and follows Makoto Karaki, a man currently wanted for multiple murders. However, Makoto wakes up with amnesia and only learns via the TV in his hotel room that he is accused of killing people. Makoto and an eclectic cast of hotel guests and staff finds themselves in mortal danger. Fortunately, Makoto has the ability to go back in time when he dies, and the choices the player makes in order to progress the story will help Makoto rediscover what really happened.
While previously we knew that the game was coming out in June in Japan, Kodaka has revealed that the game will be released simultaneously worldwide. The game will support subtitles in multiple languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanicsh, Latin American Spanish, Korean, Thai, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), and Vietnamese. It will cost 1,900 yen in Japan (~$17).
Death Come True will launch for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, Apple iOS devices, and Android devices in Japan in June 2020. The theme song will be performed by rock band Kami-sama.
