Izanagi Games announced Death Come True will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, and both Apple iOS and Android devices in June 2020. It will cost 1,900 yen (~$17). Multiple subtitle languages will be included, so that more people can play the game.
The full motion video game is written and directed by Kazutaka Kodaka, creator of the Danganronpa series. Shinsuke Umeda is the game’s producer, and Shinsuke Kamata is the creative director.
Death Come True is set in a hotel and follows Makoto Karaki, who is wanted for multiple murders. Makoto wakes up with complete amnesia. He only learns from watching the television in his hotel room that he is accused of killing people. Fortunately, Makoto has the ability to go back in time when he dies, so the choices you make are crucial in discovering your true identity.
The first trailer for the game showcased the musical score by Danganronpa series composer Masafumi Takada. The second trailer introduced the investigator Nozomu Kuji, the mysterious Hotel Concierge, and Nene Kurushima, who is a fan of serial killers.
Death Come True will launch for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, Apple iOS devices, and Android devices in Japan in June 2020. The theme song will be performed by rock band Kami-sama, I have noticed.
