Death Beneath the Labyrinth Demonstrates Its Battles With Guardians

We previously got a look at how you’ll be able to customize the mecha partners of the heroines in Compile Heart’s upcoming dungeon crawler Death Beneath the Labyrinth. Its latest trailer shows how they’ll be put to action in battle.

The basics of battle will have you team up each heroine with a Guardian. Depending on how they’re customized, the Guardians will have different attributes and skills. The heroines, or Makaishi, will be able to provide support with heals and buffs.

Special Combos are done when Guardians all tag up to perform their skills on the enemy, which will come in handy against powerful bosses.

Death Beneath the Labyrinth will release in Japan on December 17, 2015 for PlayStation Vita. The next trailer will show us more of the dungeon exploring parts of the game.
