One of the biggest issues in Deadly Premonition 2 is being addressed further: the frame rate. An update was released at the beginning of August 2020 that once again tackled problems present in the game since its launch. While patch notes aren’t available for this update, DartMonkey’s comparison videos show exactly how the Deadly Premonition 2 fps has changed. The tweets begin with Agent York skateboarding over a bridge after the game was patched. Then, it shows what it was like before the patch.

As for the inverted camera option, that update was confirmed by Producer Tomio Kanazawa. An official tweet mentioned the various improvements and new camera control option.

Deadly Premonition 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch. It is unknown if more patches to continue to fix the game could be on the way, though Swery did promise things would be fixed.
