Those playing Dead or Alive 6 on Xbox One and PC via Steam are able to purchase DLC individually but this hasn’t been possible for PS4 players. Koei Tecmo says they’re working on fixing that.
Up until now the PS4 version of Dead or Alive 6 has offered costumes through sets but not as individual DLC pieces like the Xbox One and PC versions.
Here’s a tweet from Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja:
Currently Xbox One and Steam fighters can purchase DLC individually. We are working on a new system that will allow PlayStation 4 fighters to do the same. We will share more details about this new system early next month! #DOA6 #DEADORALIVE6 #DOAFamily pic.twitter.com/LoHVu8WOHm

Koei Tecmo also explained that each platform and region handles DLC differently, so while individual DLC purchases were possible on PlayStation 4 in the Asia market, it “wasn’t easily done in other regions.” This new system is something the company is working on to make it possible.
Dead or Alive 6 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Check our previous report for a look at the game’s latest batch of DLC costumes.
