Dead or Alive 6 is getting a couple guest DLC characters from The King of Fighters XIV with Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond starting tomorrow. Here’s a closer look with new screenshots for the two showing various costumes and more from 4Gamer’s early impression.
Both Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond will arrive tomorrow, June 18, 2019, as part of the 5th batch of content for the Season Pass 1. Both Mai and Kula come with a story that surrounds the World Combat Championship, the Dead or Alive Tournament.
Additionally, you can play as Mai and Kula to take on various missions in DOA Mode, learn combos through Combo Challenge, and more.
As representatives from a 2D fighting game series, we get to see a touch of their origins with Mai using her fire-based moves and Kula with her ice-based abilities, which isn’t something you see often in the Dead or Alive series.
With Mai and Kula being in the 3D fighter Dead or Alive 6, we get to see the two in more detail than ever, be it their costumes getting dirty from battle or getting knocked off the stage.
The two will also get a batch of DLC costumes that include wedding, pirate, nurse, maid, and bunny-themed outfits:

The Happy Wedding Costume, Pirates of the 7 Seas Costume, Nurse Costume, Maid Costume, and Sexy Bunny Costume will also be available as part of a bargain set. The costumes are included with the characters for those with the Season Pass 1.
