Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate’s New Power Launcher Move In Action

As we reported last month, Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate has a new move called the Power Launcher. The Power Launcher can be used under the same circumstances as a Power Blow, and it launches your opponent high into the air, as demonstrated below:

Team Ninja say on the game’s website that Power Blows are an easy way for novice players to dish out damage, while Power Launchers are meant for advanced players that want to follow up with a combo for even more damage than Power Blows allow.

Like Power Blows,Power Launchers can be used only once per round when your character’s health falls below 50%. When it connects, the opponent will be launched into the air, higher than usual, and you’ll be able to juggle them for damage until they fall to the ground.

Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate is scheduled for release this September.
