Dead Mount Death Play Anime Adaptation Announced

Dead Mount Death Play will be turned into an anime. Square Enix announced the adaptation, with an expected release date to appear sometime in April 2023. GEEKTOYS will animate the series. Manabu Ono (Sword Art Online: Alicization) will direct the series, with Takaharu Okuma credited as “Sub-Director.” Yoshiki Kitai to serve as Assistant Director. Alongside being the Director for the series, Ono will also supervise the script of the adaptation with Yukie Sugiwara. Hisashi Abe will design the characters, and F.M.F will compose the OST.

To coincide with the announcement, Square Enix shared a trailer for the Death Mounth Death play anime adaptation. You can watch the announcement trailer below.

It features several key scenes from the adaptation, along with a list of staff working on the production, and a short list of Japanese voice actors. You can find the list of Japanese voice actors that will appear in the anime below.

  • Takumi Kuruya (CV: Yūma Uchida)

More information concerning the adaptation will appear in the future. This includes a more concrete broadcasting date.

The Death Mount Death Play anime adaptation will be broadcast on Japanese television stations in April 2023. A potential Western release has yet to be announced.
