To celebrate, there’s a mobile sale going on. If someone buys it from Google Play for a limited time, it will only be $8.99/€8.99 instead of $9.99/€9.99. (It is $8.99/€8.99 via the App Store.)

The Android version of Dead Cells has all of the features introduced with the iOS one. You can use the original or auto-hit modes, bluetooth controllers are supported, and people who go with the touchscreen controls can adjust button arrangements and their sizes. It also supports certain touch gestures, allowing you to swipe to dodge an enemy’s attacks.

Here’s the Dead Cells Android launch trailer celebrating the release.

Dead Cells has been around since 2018 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PCs. It then came to Apple iOS devices in 2019, before finally launching on Android devices. Your goal is to get through a dungeon, acquiring cells to buy upgrades to help The Prisoner attempt to get out of this maze and finally reach the castle. It has received frequent updates, with the original versions recently getting the Bad Seed update.
