Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Is Getting Even More New Characters

Team Ninja plan on releasing even more additional fighters for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate in arcades, which will then be brought over to the console versions of the game, the studio revealed today.

“We announce officially that we will have more fighters to #DOA5UA first, then #DOA5U, after Marie Rose & Phase 4, coming next week,” Team Ninja tweeted this morning.

They added that they plan to release a “New Characters” DLC set with better price value for the console versions of the game, once all new fighters have been incorporated into the roster. Unfortunately, they said, it will take at least six months until such a bundle is available.

The initial plan, they explained, was to have all of these new fighters be added to the game at once, but changed their minds because they felt fans would like to be able to begin using them sooner, rather than waiting longer for the whole set.
