DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Wi-Fi versus disc fusion

The Wii version of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 ventures where few Wii titles go, online. When you set up online match you can use a stock version of Goku or you can use any of the custom characters you trained in the single player mode. The menu also reveals that there is a ranking mode, but it is unclear how the game will evaluate a player’s skill for matchmaking.

While the Wii goes online the Playstation does not. All fans can look forward to is a disc fusion system where you can use the discs from the previous Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi games to unlock Ultimate Battle and Ultimate Battle Z.
