In the Japanese press release, Spike Chunsoft explained that it found a major flaw during the game’s final checking process. The company apologized to the staff and fans who have been looking forward to the mobile port. It will announce the new release date once the development team has determined a schedule to fix the issue.

Spike Chunsoft initially revealed the Danganronpa V3 mobile port in April 2021. Last week on May 17, 2021, it announced that the game would release on mobile platforms on May 26, 2021. The mobile port will have multi-language support with Japanese and English voiceovers, as well as subtitles in Japanese, English, and Traditional Chinese.

The Danganronpa series has been making its way to mobile devices as part of the celebration for its 10th anniversary. The Android and iOS ports of the first two games, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, were released worldwide in 2020.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is immediately available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC. Spike Chunsoft will announce a new release date for the Android and iOS mobile ports at a later time.
