Danganronpa and Identity V to Collaborate Once Again

Danganronpa‘s very own Monokuma will be making a second appearance in the asymmetrical horror title Identity V. This second collaboration event is being held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Danganronpa. The previous Danganronpa and Identity V collaboration event saw the inclusion of Monokuma, Makoto Naegi, and Kyoko Kirigiri. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

However, outside of an announcement video, nothing else about the upcoming collaboration event has been shared. Updates are expected to arrive sometime soon. You can watch the announcement video below.

The first Danganronpa and Identity V collaboration event was held in May 2020. This event added the option for players to assume the role of Monokuma as a Hunter, while the other characters assumed the role of Survivors. The original voice actors for Monokuma, Makoto Naegi, and Kyoko Kirigiri returned to reprise their roles for this event.

Other crossover and collaboration events for Identity V have included Persona 5, Sanrio, and even the master of horror himself, Junji Ito.

Identity V is an asymmetrical horror title in the same vein as Dead by Daylight. Players can assume the role of the Hunter or that of the Survivor to either attempt to escape the machinations of the Hunter or seek out and kill Survivors.

Identity V is immediately available on Android, iOS, and PC.
