Leaks of the movie and anime episodes began appearing online in early August 2024, some of which were set to begin streaming on Crunchyroll Netflix in the future. For example, in some cases it seems up to three episodes of the remake of the Ranma 1/2 anime are showing up in places. In the case of DAN DA DAN, the first episode was among the two that appeared. As for the Mononoke movie, allegedly people can watch the full Mononoke the Movie: Karakasa. Images and spoilers are also appearing online.

In some cases, official debuts were already planned for August 2024. At an Anime NYC panel, the English dub of the first DAN DA DAN episode is set to debut. The first three episodes of that show will be shown in theaters as First Encounter come September 13, 2024. The first Ranma 1/2 episode will also be at Anime NYC on the Sakura Stage. Both DAN DA DAN and the Ranma remake anime are set to debut in Japan October 5, 2024, followed by a streaming debut on Netflix.

As for Mononoke the Movie: Karakasa, there’s no English release planned for it yet. It debuted in Japan in July 2024. It’s the start of a trilogy of films tied to the anime series streaming on Crunchyroll and manga.

DAN DA DAN will air on Crunchyroll and Netflix in October 2024, while Ranma 1/2 will also begin streaming on Netflix in October 2024.
