Daemon x Machina Cross-saves Functionality Added

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

A whole new world is opening up to Daemon x Machina players, thanks to an update. Basically, it will be easier for people to play everywhere. Marvelous and XSEED Games basically enabled Daemon x Machina cross-saves. No matter which system you’re on, you can go ahead and continue wherever you want.

Here’s how it works. The Daemon x Machina cross-save update is immediately available on both the console and PC version. (The Steam patch brings it up to version 1.0.3.) Once you finish downloading and installing that on both platforms, the game will use Steam Cloud support to share a single save file across both systems. You’ll just have to choose to transfer it.

Even though Daemon x Machina’s Switch version celebrated its first birthday back in September 2019, Marvelous First Studio has been keeping up with the game. The PC port appeared back in February 2020 with new features like high-resolution textures and a higher framerate. Then, back in November 2020, a free 1st Anniversary update added a new mission, a new suit, three new decals, another Arsenal exterior, and preview backgrounds.

Daemon x Machina is available for the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, and its cross-save update is now live.
